Thai is a dominant language and is spoken by the majority of the society in Thailand. Thai language gained widespread popularity in Thailand and other parts of the world. The language is also adopted as the second language in the late 18th century. Ethnic minorities speak Thai other than their native language or dialect.

You will be surprised to know that it is written with correspondence of grapheme. The 31 letter version of Cyrillic script is also quite common. It also includes some original letters.
