"Sotho" is spoken by the entire Sotho-Tswana group, and is called "Southern Sotho". Within the Sotho-Tswana group, it is closely related to Lozi (Silozi). It is very much similar to the Southern Bantu languages like Venda, Tsonga, Tonga, Lozi, and another native language of Zambia.
