Even the spellings, alphabets, and vocabulary choices are different. The writing system features vernacular script and is now known as Hangul. There are two different types of vowels that include y or w. Some front vowels are written as e = [e], and ae = [ฮต] or [รฆ]. However, some of them are originally diphthongs. The Korean language is deeply influenced by Chinese but even then, it is completely different from it.
