According to Wikipedia.org, Punjabi is an Indo-Aryan language. It is spoken by the Punjabi people. The natives of the Punjab region of Pakistan and India speak Punjabi. Punjabi is the 9th most widely spoken language and is one of the most popular languages in Pakistan. It is the 11th most widely spoken language in India. It is also the third most spoken native language in the Subcontinent. Punjabi is also the third most spoken language in England. It is also a well-known language in Canada. Punjabi has made its way to many other parts of the world including the United Arab Emirates, the United States, France, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, and the Netherlands. There are about 113 million native speakers all around the world. It is spoken by people in the Punjab province in Pakistan. In India, Punjabi is spoken by 31.1 million people (as of 2011) and is the official language of Punjab.
About Telugu Language
According to Wikipedia.org, Telugu is spoken by the Telugu people and is a part of the Dravidian language family. The native speakers are 83 million in number and they reside mainly in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Telugu is also the official language of West Bengal, Yanam district of Puducherry. This language is spoken by a minority in the states of Punjab, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, and Andaman. It is one of the six most prominent languages in India. Telugu is also popularly known as Andhramu (ఆంధ్రము). Interestingly it is ranked number fourth due to a lot of native speakers. There are three different dialects of Telugu. However, the Coastal dialect is the most prominent that is spoken in Andhra Pradesh. If we talk about the Rayalaseema dialect it is spoken in the state of Telangana. Other dialects of Telugu are Berad, Dasari, Dommara, Golari, Kamathi, and a lot more.
