There are about 113 million native speakers all around the world. It is spoken by people in the Punjab province in Pakistan. In India, Punjabi is spoken by 31.1 million people (as of 2011) and is the official language of Punjab.

Late Middle Japanese is closer to the modern Japanese language. Japanese has a few similarities with the English language.
