About Khmer Language
According to Wikipedia.org, The Khmer language is also known as Cambodian. It is the official language of Cambodia. There are around 11.3 million people in South-Eastern Thailand who also speak Khmer. This language is written with a special script that was first introduced in South India. Khmer is the official language of the ancient Khmer empire and in Angkor. There are several inscriptions from the 7th to 15th century that represent the prestige and use of this language. In Cambodia 15-16 million native speakers speak Khmer. People living in Khmer are close to the Southeast Asian population. The Northern Khmer dialect makes it distinctive among other languages. Khmer belongs to the Austroasiatic Khmeric Khmer language family.
About Irish Language
According to Wikipedia.org, Irish is the official language of Ireland but there are Irish speakers in UK, USA, and Canada too. According to the census in 2016, around 1.76 million people speak Irish. There are around three main dialects of the Irish language. It involves Munster (An Mhumhain), Connacht (Connachta) and Ulster (Ulaidh). This language is written in Ogham alphabets while it also features Gaelic script. If we talk about the modern Irish it is written with a combination of Latin words. The spellings donβt reflect the pronunciation of various alphabets. For example βbiaβ is known as food in English. This can change in some other dialects especially in the Munster pronunciation. There are a lot of irregularities seen in both spellings and pronunciations.
