The language has several regional dialects and it has distinct status styles. Javanese has closest relations with Sundanese, Madurese, and Balinese. The speakers of Javanese also speak Indonesian for commercial purposes. They also use the language to communicate with non-Javanese-speaking Indonesians. Javanese is also spoken in Malaysia and Singapore. The language is also spoken by traditional immigrant communities who are of Javanese descent in Suriname, Sri Lanka, and New Caledonia.

German is spoken by 90 million speakers all over the world. Many people also study it as a foreign language. When it comes to written form German differs from the Austrian and Swedish languages.
