According to Wikipedia.org, The Hawaiian language is the official language of Hawaii. It happens to be one of the oldest languages in the world. This language has an important history but was about to extinct at the end of the 20th century. However, the renaissance of Hawaiian happened and more people are interested in learning it. Currently, this language is used in many schools and even for attaining a masterâs degree. Only 0.1% of people in Hawaii are speaking this language as their mother tongue. The major thing about Hawaiian is that there are about four basic rules in it. Nearly all the words end in a vowel and every consonant ends with at least one vowel. Even every syllable ends with a vowel itself. The Hawaiian alphabets contain 113 letters and five vowels. âOkinaâ is also considered a consonant. Here is the following example that shows kai = sea kaÊ»i = to lead.
About Irish Language
According to Wikipedia.org, Irish is the official language of Ireland but there are Irish speakers in UK, USA, and Canada too. According to the census in 2016, around 1.76 million people speak Irish. There are around three main dialects of the Irish language. It involves Munster (An Mhumhain), Connacht (Connachta) and Ulster (Ulaidh). This language is written in Ogham alphabets while it also features Gaelic script. If we talk about the modern Irish it is written with a combination of Latin words. The spellings donât reflect the pronunciation of various alphabets. For example âbiaâ is known as food in English. This can change in some other dialects especially in the Munster pronunciation. There are a lot of irregularities seen in both spellings and pronunciations.
