Estonian and Germanic languages are of different origins. There are many similar words in Estonian and German languages. In Cambodia 15-16 million native speakers speak Khmer. People living in Khmer are close to the Southeast Asian population. The Northern Khmer dialect makes it distinctive among other languages. Khmer belongs to the Austroasiatic Khmeric Khmer language family.
