This language has emerged as a distinct language after the breaking up of Yugoslavia. It has now become the official language of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1994. Even Croatian and Serbian languages are also spoken in Bosnia. This language Bosnian is written with both Cyrillic and Latin alphabets. During the past era, it was written with Arabic alphabets. One of the very first Bosnian dictionaries was written by Muhamed Hevaji Uskufi in 1631. The Bosnian language is a standardized and combined version of Serbo-Croatian. Even though it is the official language of Azerbaijan it is used in other countries that include South Russia (Dagestan) and Northern Iran. However, the dialects for both are different. It is not the official language in the north of Iran. Surprisingly, the number of Iranian Azerbaijan is huge in number. Even the Government of Iran has banned this language for many years now. According to the latest census, Azerbaijani is spoken by 92.5% population. English and Russian play an integral part in their education and communication. Lezgian, Talysh, Avar, Georgian, Budukh Juhuri, Khinalug, Udi, and Kryts are spoken by other minorities.
